Straight teeth not only look more attractive, but they are also healthier as they are easier to clean and function better in the bite, reducing the risk of gum disease, tooth decay, tooth wear and breakage, and even jaw joint problems.
Traditionally, orthodontic treatment (tooth straightening) meant metal wires connected to brackets on teeth, which were unsightly, uncomfortable and got in the way of tooth cleaning.
Clear Aligners are a revolutionary new way to straighten teeth without fixed braces, for people of all ages. Treatment involves wearing a series of invisible stents which gradually push the teeth into the desired position. They can be removed for eating, cleaning teeth, etc. They require considerably fewer visits to the dentist than fixed braces, are much more comfortable and treatment is generally cheaper and faster.
There are many different brands on the market, from the old Invisalign system to do-it-yourself online systems. We use a modern system, Sure Smile (Dentsply Sirona), which we consider to be the most advanced, accurate and reliable system today.

A pin-point accurate digital impression is taken with our Primescan scanner, and the 3-D models, along with photos and X-rays are sent electronically for treatment planning to the Sure Smile Orthodontic Laboratory in Texas, USA. We can then show you an animation of the tooth movements, before, after and during treatment, so you can visualise the result before committing to start the process.
Great Teeth Dental Care is currently offering a limited number of FREE 15 minute consultations to answer your questions and assess your suitability for this treatment. To book, please use our online booking system and quote the code OOC20
How much for clear aligners and do you guys do part payment
Hi Allen, cost depends on the case. Usually $4,000-$8,000. We need an up front deposit then part payments can be done over the course of treatment.
Hello.
I am very interested in your clear braces. I would like to know the price and further details.
I don’t live in NZ all year so I am unsure if this would be ok for me.
Best regards,
Errin Fawcett
Hi Erin, the cost depends on the difficulty of the case, which determines how many aligners or dentist visits are needed. Usually between $4,000-$8,000. It’s possible to do treatment if you’re not in NZ throughout the year, depending at what points you will need dentist intervention.
